Deron
Williams has been the face of the Nets in the past two seasons and a half, but
in those days never before seen him so motivated for a new season as it is now,
and that has very happy news for coach Jason Kidd .
Kidd
said he was pleased to hear that Willams has been meeting with her teammates in
Los Angeles in preparation for the next season before they begins training camp.
The
ex-star of the Nets and Dallas Mavericks last season played for New York -
Knicks.
Williams
has met with Joe Johnson, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, the latter two changed
from the Boston Celtics to the Nets a few months ago, and with other team
members.
The
renovated Nets 2013-2014 season will start on Wednesday October 30th when they
visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. They will debut in home, the Barclays
Center, on Friday, November 1 to the double current champion of the NBA, the
Miami Heat.
